Bill, I was wondering if you have taken the Rev Francis Pelot's family any further. I am searching a John Francis who left SC for Washington-Wilkes, GA. I believe that he is not the son of James Pelot + Elizabeth Chisholm, whom the Beville Family text records as being a bachelor.
I believe that my John Frances is the son of Rev Francis's son John, who appears in Washington-Wilkes references. This John Francis is recorded in some references as marrying a Harriett (Hattie) Hinton, a transcription error which seems to have become "truth". There are other confirming records that Hattie was a Minton, whose family lines pass through Darien, GA, and had close family associations with the King family.
I leave you with this, and hope that you might have made more headway on this family than I have. I am happy to share what I have. Is your Harrison line that which has DuPont family connections? Thank you.
