here's what I wrote to Sally Pellow, (see Genforum).

Our Pellowe is BETSEY PELLOWE (born circa 1823) who married JOHN MITCHELL (b. 1820). He was a shipwright and they married on 11 April 1852 at St Gluvias. I would love to be able to take the line further back.

Do you recognise Betsey at all from your researches? Glad to know anything you have which you think may be useful. Good luck with your researches.
