Dear Jane,

After reading the whole list of names and dates, maybe you are the person I have been trying to find..
My g-g-g-grandfather was John Hawhtorn Pellow, born in Falmouth in 1794 and he moved somewhere before 1924 to Dundee where he got married to Euphemia Doig.

We found the link and offspring in Dundee but have unfortunately been unable to connect John Pellow to any relatives in Cornwall, let alone Falmouth, since there are soo many.

We are desperately looking for his siblings and parents and since none of this information was found in the registrar office in Dundee we are stuck.

A great aunt who devoted her life to geneology only found out that he left the house and maybe served on a boat during the Napoleonic wars (which would have made him 10-12 years old at that time). I could see that your relatives seem to be born around 1806 which might still be a possible connection to our John Pellow.

Since we do not have any detailed information as to which parish he decended from, we have to trace every possible Pellow in the area.

Maybe you will be able to help us with this,

thank you in advance,
