I just discovered this web sight. My grandmother's name was Anna Asaro from Santa Ninfa. Her mothers maiden name was Pellicane. Her Uncle Antonio was a Pellicane and was born in 1878. He originally settled in New york, I think ?Brooklyn. He then went to Chicago and was a grocer. He first came to the us in 1912.
I'd love to know more about my Grandmother family.
I remember Tony as an old man he visited us in California and I think he lived to be over 80
