I purchased Marys picture in Topeka, Kansas years ago. It had been donated to the Next of New Sale put on by the Junior League. I just feel in love with her dear little face and thought it a shame someone got rid of it. I am a sculptor and was working in wax back then. I made a life- size wax figure of your Aunt to look like her. The head and hands are wax with a canvas body. She has embedded human hair in pony tails just like the picture and she has inset eyes and is dressed in a plaid and velvet dress just like the picture. In other words I made a doll that looks like your aunt. I would be happy to send you pictures via email if I had your email address.
For many years I was a wax doll artist, then a porcelain doll mold designer, Vickie Anguish Originals. Now I do drawings, portrait work and am a sculptor of military pieces.
I would love to hear from you and learn more about Mary.
