Lucia D. Pegues/Wyatt Calhoun Lyon
My husbands great grandparents were Wyatt Calhoun Lyon and Lucia D. Pegues. I have a transcript of a interview given by Mary E. Lyon-Lester in 1903.She only knew her mother's people were King/Pegues.I found the information on this forum.Thank you for sharing.I have nothing on Wyatt C. Taylor...Samuel P./1839/MS...James R. 10 June, 1842 MS./26 June 1925,Rising Star, TX James practiced medicine in Harrison CO., TX studied in LA..Ann/Sept. 1845/MS..Edwin R./Dec 1847/MS..Mary died before the interview was over.Their journey SC/Al/MS/TX..Holly Springs, MS. Found Mary in the 1850 Anderson CO., TX Census..She ended up in Brownwood, Brown CO., TX..There is an excellent article about C. C. Pegues in Brewers Al. History. I have some of the marriage/children information if someone needs it. I just started on this line, and once again I find great people. Willie Pegue Lyon is my husband's grandfather. Thanks again.
