Martha Lucretia Pegram, born July 16, 1844 in Guilford County, North Carolina, died November 20, 1918 in Forsyth County, North Carolina. Married Thomas Jefferson Van Hoy. She was daughter of Jacob Pegram, b May 25, 1799 in Warren County, N C, d. 1851 in Guilford County, m. Ursula Dwiggins, b. December 5, 1801 in Stokes County, N C, d. February 8, 1885, buried Bethlemhem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Wakertown, Forsyth County, NC. Martha's siblings are: Elisha M, b. Sept 9, 1823, twin of Elijah S; Thomas Howard, b. January 11, 1825; Mary, b. August 26, 1826; Robert D, b. March 3, 1828; Ann H, b. 1833; William Albright, b. July 19, 1834; Joseph E, b. August 29, 1837; Ursula Eleanor, b. April 18, 1839; Jacob Yances, b. October 29, 1842.
