I've got a maybe for you.
I have a William Pegg born in 1754 in Mickleover, pretty much next to Twyford - he seems just a little young. I'm in a line from his older brother John (2.8.1752).
As I understand it they are descendents of John (b 10.7.1720 Brailsford) and Rachel Wood. (m 7.2.1748/49 Dalbury Lees)(9 kids, Rachel '1749, JOHN '52, William '54, Thomas '56, James '60, Sibylla '62, George '65, Joseph '67, Elizabeth '69)
That John is from William Pegg(1695)and Elizabeth Ride (m 3.2.1717 Brailsford) had 2 kids in Brailsford Thomas 9.11.1718 and John 10.7.1720.
William is son of Thomas Pegg of Ashbourne(d 16.7.1763?)and Margaret Goodall (m 3.9.1692 Brailsford)(d 19.3.1744?)5 kids in Tissington, Thomas 1693, WILLIAM '95, George '97, Elizabeth 1700, John 1703.
I hope this is of some use but he'd of been a young groom.
