From what I find on the Peet line: three Peet brothers, Robert, William, and Jesse (some of the business informaton I find online list James), who immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio from Chatteris, Cambridgeshire England about 1862. Robert Peet married Sarah Gunton in Cleveland. They left Cleveland about 1872 and started the Peet Brothers Mfg. Company in Kansas City.
According to the 1841, 51, and 61 English Census records their father died when they were young. Their Mother, Mary is remarried to John Harding by the 1861 Census. The children listed:
John Peet b.abt. 1836
Robert Peet b. abt. 1844
Jane Peet b. abt.1846
William Peet b. Abt. 1847
Jesse Peet b. Abt. 1849

Harding children listed:
Thomas Harding b. abt. 1849
John Harding b. abt. 1851
Emma Harding b. abt. 1853
Richard Harding b. abt. 1855
Ruth b. abt. 1860
