Hi Cousin... Im Related to the Peery's through Thomas. I was reading the message board when I came across something... YOu mentioned that a Thomas Peery come over on the "Charming Nancy" and you are correct. I have seen the captains ship manifest and it is valid. But in my opinion, this was NOT the Thomas Peery that was one of the four(or five) brothers. First, he was listed as Thomas Perry. Secondly, that Ship arrived in Phillidelphia on Oct 8, 1737. This Thomas is often listed as one of the four brothers, but I think he is more likely on of their Irish Cousins. In 1737 the Peery's were already well established in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia. I believe that the Four Peery Brothers were actually the sons of William Peery of Pennsylvania, grandsons of the John Peery of Knock Lofty Ireland. There is even a record of a land deal concerning 50,000 acres of land in New Jersey, in 1696 with a John Perry(not Peery) listed as a partner. I believe this was the Father of The John Peery of Knock Lofty Tipperary Ireland and is listed as being born in Ireland and Died in New Jersey. I'm still working on it, and It's very confusing.. due to their unimaginative names.. well, it's really quite a mess. It's all a bit fuzzy, but the dates seem to fit this theory..
