Here's one more Peer/Conner connection.Jacob "junior" (he shows up in the 1850 Census in the same dwelling unit but seperate household as the elder Jacob Peer and Elizabeth Snarr)married a daughter of James Conner (by his first wife Margeret), this one being Eveline (also in the 1850 Census).Marriage book record shows Jacob marrying one Eveline Conner on 22 Dec 1842.It shows he as being the song of Jacob, and her the daughter of James. This Eveline would have been William J Conner's younger sister.
So, what we had was a classic case of two families living more or less next door to each other having their kids marry each other. In this case, that would be two of James Connor's children (William J and Eveline) marrying two of Jacob Peer's kids (Catherine and Jacob).
