Thanks Lisa, for data. Also have for Henry L. Peed: CSA service. Had 2 sons in 1850 Census: H[enry]. T. age 02 [1848] & J.J. age 01 [1849). J.J. died before 1860 Census: Henry T[homas]. age 13 [1847]; William C[ook]. age 08 [1852]; Benj. H[ill]. age 01 [1859]. Both father Henry L. and son Benjamin H. Peed were shorerepairmen by trade. Believe Henry Peed (b 1796)lived in Taylor Co. GA m. Dorcas & uncle of Henry T. taught them the trade.
Do you have Henry T.'s parents, etc.? My data stops with him.
In Talbot Co. GA, 2 Peed men(Henderson and Zachariah) m. within four years of Henry T.’s 1846 nuptials. Another Henry “Paad” m in 1833, Brothers? Cousins?
