Just a much needed update to my previos info...

Since my last posting I have found Catherine was born around 1815 in possibly Middlesex, England, she came to Tasmania aboard the 'Charles Kerr' and had been considered troublesome according to shipping records.

Edward was a wheelwright or carpenter and they married in 1836 in Tasmania (Launceston).

Their children were:
1. Edward b 1837
2. Hannah (or Ellen Hannah or Ellen might have been another child) b 1842
3. Martha b 1844
4. Susan b 1846
5. Matilda b 1849
6. Adelaide b 1850
7. Catherine b 1852 d 1854
8. John b 1855
9. James Charles b 1858
10. Henry b 1860

I have traced Edward Jnr, Hannah, Martha, Susan, Matilda, Adelaide and Catherine but the three boys I can not find. Catherine (the mother) was vuried in a family grave in a now defunct cemetary in Tasmania.
