A Sherman Peed was one of 6 children of Thomas and Elizabeth Sherman. He was born in 1819, but I don't have a record of his death. He first married Elizabeth Malinda Faulkner on 1/9/1847 (Marr. Of Gran. Co. 1753-1868, p. 262) and subsequently married Elizabeth Stem on 12/23/1885. His age was listed as 55 at the time of the second marriage. I have a record of three children: Simpson (Sim) Peed, Charles Graham Peed b. c. 1860, Missouri A. Peed (girl), but no Susan Margaret Peed.
1. Sim married Bettie Haskins on 12/23/1869 (Gran. Co. Mar. Rec.) dau. Of William C. and Emeline Haskins.
2. Graham married Ella Fuller on 12/29/1886 (Orange Co. Mar. Rec.) b. c. 1864; d.-
3. Missouri married Memucan Hunt (Muke) Jones.

The only Susan Peed I know of in Granville County was Susan Bonner who married my great, great, grandfather, John. I'll check more recently gathered records that are still on paper and let you know if I find anything else.
