VA by Carolyn Anderson of 1623 I have Jesse (1742) marrying Martha Chambless and having Jesse C. Peebles, Jr (about 1765). Jesse Jr. apparently married several times, but primarily Elizabeth Sledge on 10/31/1785. They and some of their children ended up in Tennessee, others remained in Virginia (my line).
