Elmer Calvert was b. Feb. 10, 1909 in Caldwell Co., Ky.
he had a twin sister Willie Edna.
Their mother died in childbirth having them. All of the
children, of which there were several were all scattered
about to different families and in different nearby
counties.
Willie Edna was raised by a Howton family in Kopkins Co.,
Ky. and went by the name Willie Edna Howton.
She married a John Craig in Kentucky probably after 1930.
They also lived in Evansville, In. for a while.
They had a dau Edwina who married an unknown Peckinpaugh.
Edwina had at least one child maybe more, the one we know
about was believed to be named Scott Peckinpaugh b. abt
1957.
We don't know for sure if Edwina & Mr. Peckinpaugh married
in KY., In.or Ca.
Willie Edna Craig (Edwina's mother) died Feb. 21, 1985 in
Los Angeles, Ca.
and John Craig (Edwina's father) died Dec. 8, 1974
Wilmington, Ca.
It is believed that Edwina & family may still be living in
Ca.
We are hoping that some one may have some information on
this Peckinpaugh family.
