The Disappearance of Roy Lee Peck
Posted by: Kenneth DeCamp (ID *****4319) Date: April 06, 2009 at 18:50:29

Roy Lee Peck was an engineer for the Chicago Dredge and Dock or the Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company and lived in Oak Park, Cook County, Illinois between 1920 and 1930. He disappeared during that decade and the 1930 Census finds his wife Annie widowed. Family stories have him disappearing and presumed drowned from one of the companies boats. Stories also have him the victim of foul play, i.e., pushed overboard. If anyone has information, I would greatly appreciate setting the record straight.
