Tonight I have found a little more info for you via family search.org website.
in 1920 a census recorded Horace E. Peevy, wife Ida Peevy Sistrunk (possibly Evie I as well) In 1930 it is Horace Pevey. Ida's parents were Nicholas and Sinthia Ivory Brister and her parents were Benjamin and Synthia Jones.
I found all this info for you while I was chasing My Grandmother Hilda Marie Merritt Delaughter married to my Pappaw Bennie DeLaughter of Natchez Mississippi. We are related through Hilda By her parents Bernice Pevey and Edd Merritt, Bernices Father was Horace.
