My great great grandfather Francis Peasley was born in approx 1825 - on the 1851 UK census he states that he was from Lower Heyford - he was a boatman on the Oxford Canal and eventually ended up in the Darlaston/Tipton/Wednesbury area of Staffordshire (now in the West Midlands).
When he married Harriet Brindley on 12 Feb 1849 at St Lawrence, Darlaston he states his father's name as also being Francis.
Does anyone have any connection or information regarding either Francis.
