Dear Marlea,

I don't have much information on Ellen Orilla Peasley or her 7 siblings, just their names, and the name of one nephew, but I have a complete link back to the original immigrant in 1635 if that helps you?

Ebenezer Peaslee (b. 1826 d.1912) married Mary Ann Gibbs and had 8 children according to my records:
Ellen, Emma, Emily, Gilbert, Oscar John, Anna, Adelbert and Laura S. I have nothing further down the line for any of them except Adelbert, who married somebody and had a son named John. (I added your information about Ellen's husband to my records).

Ebenezer was the first(?) child of 7 born to John Peaslee and his first wife Sally Bryam (or Byam). There were 8 more born to John and his second wife Marian T. Peaslee.

John was the third of 3 children born to John Peaslee (b. 1753 in NY, d. 1812) and ? ?.

John was the fifth of 8 children born to Ebenezer Peaslee (b.~1716 in Amesbury, MA, d. 1788 in NY) and Lydia Weed.

Ebenezer Peaslee was the last of 11 children born to John Peaslee and Mary Martin. John Peaslee (b.1769 in Haverhill, MA, d.1752) was the fourth child of 8 born to Joseph Peaslee and Ruth Barnard. Joseph Peaslee (b. 1646 in Haverhill, MA, d. 1734 in Haverhill, MA) was the fifth child of five born to the
original immigrant to America: Joseph Peaslee (b. ~1598 in England).

I hope this helps connect you to the rest of the family…there are several websites that can fill in most of the first 6 or 7 generational details, now that you know where to look. Try Robert Peaslee's (and son Mark's) excellent website at: http://www.headspider.com/genpage.htm for all the links above. If you have any other questions about the ancestry, email me at peaslee@hope.edu or post here. If you could post any more info on Ellen or her siblings subsequent families, that would be great.

GRAHAM
