I write asking for clarification and confirmation or refutation of a theory about the Peaslee/Sage connection.

The family tree titled “Welcome to Chuck's World” by Chuck Griffin ( http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=harlancgriffin&id=I7867 )as well as many other sources, report that Isaac Peaslee (1750/51-1814) married 2nd Hannah Randall Sage widow of Benjamin Sage. However, the dates given by Griffin are, I believe the dates for Hannah’s daughter also named Hannah. The death date for Hannah wife of Isaac, 1857, given by Griffin contradicts the reported third marriage of Isaac.

I believe the dates (Birth: 7 OCT. 1779 in Renssalear, Renssalear County, NY Death: 20 DEC 1857 in Napoli, Ontario County, NY) belong to Hannah’s daughter. This daughter probably is the person who married Isaac’s son John Peaslee (Birth: 7 OCT. 1779 in Quaker Hill, Dutchess County, NY Death: 20 Dec 1857 Napoli, Cattaraugus Co., New York). This would make John and Hannah step-siblings.

Reference to primary and reliable secondary sources would be appreciated.
