I was wondering if someone could help me in my research. I just found out that I am related to Pres. Gerald R. Ford but I am having trouble tracing the connection to my family. I know that he was born as Leslie Lynch King, Jr. and then when his mother remarried, his stepfather adopted him and gave him his name which is now Gerald Rudolph Ford, Jr. He was born on 14 July 1913 in Omaha, Nebraska.
My family is Peaslee/Peasley and I originated from Joseph Peaslee/Mary Johnson, imigrated from England in the 1630's.
