Looking for information on Nancy or Anna Peaslee who was married to George Jenks. She was born about 1855 in Canada to Augustus and Elizabeth Crawford Peaslee. She was raised in Iowa and showed up in the 1900 census (Hyde Park IL)with husband George W. Jenks. The census indicated that she was the mother of two children (1 living) and that she and George had been married for 10 years. I suspect that this was not her first marriage, so the children may not have had Jenks as a last name. Does anyone have any information about this family?
