Looking for ancestors of Charles Pearson (born c1820) in Whitehaven, Cumbria. In 1841 he married Mary Kirkpatrick and then, when she died, he married her sister, Jane Kirkpatrick in 1853. The two women provided him with six children and I have all the relevent history going forward to the present day.
I know his mother was Ann who was a widow, living with
Charles and his family in Whitehaven at the time of the 1841 census. Her age was stated as 60 which would mean she was born about 1781, but I have no information on her late husband. Can anyone help.
