Hi!

Don't know if this helps in your search, but the Pearson name was quite common in the Cumberland/Cumbria area of
England (our famous Lake District area) Most of my family come from the Whitehaven area which in the 18th and 19th centuries was the third largest seaport for people wishing to emigrate to the New World, so you might find your
connection somewhere in that County. Your best bet is
the Cumbria or Whitehaven BMD indexes which you should
find on the internet.
