PEARSON family in Cloverdale, CA in 1921?

Is there anyone researching a family that was in Cloverdale, (I believe this in Sonoma Co) CA in 1921? I have an obit of a relative that says her daughter lived in Cloverdale at the time of her death - it was a Mrs. N Pearson. Not sure if this was N for the husband or the wife? Thank you! JoAnn
