Rowan County NC 1790 Pearson Families

I’m researching Samuel Bailey that lived and died in Rowan County NC. Samuel Bailey’s first wife was named Sarah; they were married about 1760 in Rowan Co. Samuel and Sarah named a son Richmond Bailey born about 1782. Sarah died and Samuel married Tabitha Pearson 11 Aug 1789 in Rowan Co. The documents below, shows a Richmond Pearson listed with Tabitha “Pearson” Bailey. Does anybody know the relation ship between Tabitha and Richmond Pearson? Sarah named a son Richmond, could Sarah’s maiden name have been Pearson? Could Sarah and Tabitha have been sisters or first cousins? Tabitha named sons Daniel and Nimrod Bailey.
Thanks for any help.
Larry
