Hi Gwen -- we have two different families. There are two Jeremiah Pearson's in Hancock Co. The first one you have what I have, the second Jeremiah C (1833-1899) is the son of Stephen Pearson (1774-1854) who is the son of John Pearson and Sarah Hall and I guess was named for his uncle.
