My Pearsons, Philip Raiford and Nancy, came to Texas in 1839 from South Carolina. However some of the older sons (Franklin "Frank", John, Philip Raiford and Benjamin "Ben" may have stayed or arrived later from southern states. Their sons Solomon, William and Edward T were all married and show up in the 1880 Gonzales Co census list. Their son Oliver (52)and his wife Anna (45) are in Fannin Co in the 1880 census along with their children Raiford (22), Joseph (15) and Lee(6). Marticia, another daughter of Philip and Nancy, is said to have married a Baker and died in Fannin Co about 1900. Oliver and Anna had older children Walton, Philip, Sarah Ann, Nancy and Francis who were of age in 1880 and were not listed with them in the census. I suspect the girls were all married as they were in their early twenties at that date. Do any of these names relate to your line?
