Officers of the Post
With this issue we induct a new column, with the hopeful intention of better acquainting our readers, both townspeople and Cadets, with the various officers of the Missouri Institute of Aeronautics.
Lieut. Thomas G. Pearse, Jr., formerly officer in charge of cadets, is now adjutant, having served in that capacity for the past month.
Born in Texas, Lieut. Pearse at an early age moved to Ottawa, Ill., which he calls his hometown.Lieut. Pearse was awarded a commission in the Infantry in June of 1938, upon graduation from the University of Illinois.He was assigned to active duty with the Air Corps on August 20, 1941, and was immediately stationed at Sikeston, where has been serving since.
Lieut. Pearse is married and he and his wife reside in Sikeston.
