Hello! I don't have all the details, but I believe that the John S. Peearey of the 1880 census of Calloway Co is actually John Stewart Pearre, b. 27 Jan 1825, probably Clermont Co, OH, son of Charles Warfield Pearre and Dorcas M. Stewart. He married Ally Rumsey in Cole County. I can't find them in the 1870 census, though his father is there in Jefferson Twp. John S. is said to have died in 1890.
I'm tracking the Stewart family. Dorcas was the daughter of Jeremiah Stewart & Priscilla Chisholm, and was born in Frederick Co, MD.
