I was just looking up a connection I was told our family had with the Duchess of Windsor and came upon your web site.
I am Marian Lindsay Pyle Behne, named for my great-great grandmother, Sarah Marian Lindsay. My cousin has the name Sara (she dropped the h). My great-grandmother was Claudia Pearre Sloan, my grandmother was Marian Pearre Sloan Cox, and my recently deceased mother was Marianne Pearre Cox Pyle. Someplace I have a picture of the house that Sarah and James lived in, in Maryland, I believe. There are Pearres in and around Fredrick, or there were. I have a daughter whose middle name is Lindsay, and another daughter who gave the name to my granddaughter.
