Ansel Pearce was born in 1776, supposedly in Randolph County, North Carolina. He died 11 Dec, 1860, also in Randolph County, NC. His wife was Mary Briles, born 19 March 1784. She died 30 September 1855, also in Randolph Co., NC. I have been able to trace the Briles family, but have had no luck with the Pearce family beyond Ansel.
