My name is Roger James Pead living in Toronto Canada and have just stumbled across this site so dont really know how it works. I was brought up in UK Poplar East Ham and Essex. My father Thomas William Pead was born in Poplar and had a brother Robert and sisters Beattie and LiL. according to my mother who is still living aged 87. My grandfather was a Robert Durdant Pead of Adelaide Buildings Poplar who worked on the waterworks. He would obviously have been born later than 1836 probably around 1890. My mother unprompted also related to me the story of the great grandfather who drank away the family fortune. I have 3 living brothers Tony David and Geoffrey all living close to London all who have children and I can trace my cousins who are all still around. I have not done any research other than stumbling across this site .If this is the Pead line you are looking for happy to help.I recall my brother Tony recieving an enquiry fom Australia some years ago which he did not follow up on Regards Roger. I can be reached at
