I have been searching for the Pead family who started the line of the family in Cape Town, South Africa. I've found a record for William Pead who married Helena Ludovicka Holland in 1867 in Cape Town. I believe that he may be my great-grandfather. He had several children - Charles, William Thomas James Thomas born 1880(my grandfather who married Mary Sussana Lawrence or Laurens) Henry and Sarah. It seems more than just a coincidence that I see these names repeated in many of the Pead family genealogies that I found on several websites. If you believe that you have family that may have connections with this family then please - I'd love to know.
