Sarah:
My family name is also Peacock and from a little place called Shoeburyness. My grandfather was John William Peacock b. 1909. d.1944, left Shoebury in 1924 and came to Canada. His family remained in UK. His father Jack Peacock was married to Nellie Cork and they had 3 children, John, Gerald and Lillianne. At the time of Jack's death,b. 1884 d.1917,in WWI, his father, John William Peacock was listed as living in Rainham, Kent. This is where we hit a road block. Hope this helps.
Becky Machniewski (Peacock)
