Sophia Woodward Peacock and Amanda Jane Peacock's parents were John Peacock, b. 1 Jan 1762 in Medway, Liberty Co, Ga., d. 9 Apr 1823 in Bell Buckle, Bedford Co, Tn, m. 21 Feb 1799 to Ann Woodward, b. 14 Sep 1782 in Medway, Ga. d. 24 Nov 1844 Shelbyville, Bedford Co, Tn. There were 13 siblings, including the Capt J. W. Peacock, that is the subject of this message line, and numerous descendants. I can provide you more detail, including identities of John and Ann's parents and John's Father, Thomas Peacock Jr., Grandfather, Thomas Peacock, Sr. who died Abt 1730 in Charleston, SC and his grandmother, Anna Room Peacock.
I would appreciate it if you could supply me with the details of the descendants of Hamilton Ledbetter and Amanda Jane Peacock Ledbetter. This will probably be more correspondence than may be convenient on the Peacock Forum, although it might be useful to other Peacocks and migh be critiqued here too.
Let me know if you would wish to proceed on this message board or by some other means of communication
