Hi folks,
I'm an historian researching William Peacock that mustered into the 151st NY Volunteer Infantry as a Corporal in 1862. The only info I have is that he mustered in at Somerset, NY (Buffalo area),at age 22 years old, and was severely wounded in his left thigh in the spring of 1864. If that info is correct, he should have been born around 1840. Good math huh?
I'm planning on portraying this him in an upcoming living history event. In honor of this man, I'd really like to do the best impression I can.
If any one has any possible leads they could share I'd love to hear from you.
Thank you very much. - Tim C.
