Peacock's in Randolph County, NC

Heeeelllllppp. I am desperately trying to find the "proof" that Peninna Peacock who married Alford Duncan Trogdon in Randolph County, NC was the daughter of Peter Peacock and Rachel Modlin - or proof of who her parents were. She was born according to her headstone in 1825 and died in 1893. I have major "issues" in the Alford/Peninna line in connecting Alford to his father Ure Trogdon and low and behold I have run up against the same problem with Peninna. Peninna had a brother (I believe) named Ephriam who was in the Civil War - and I believe Ephriam was her brother because she had a son she named Ephriam who is my g-g grandfather. I am just really stuck on this one Trogdon/Peacock connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Jean
