"Boskenna & the Paynters" by Jim Hosking (1999) is still fairly widely available in Cornwall. His email is given in the book as "[email protected]".
Boskenna is near Lamorna (off the B road leading to Porthcurno etc) a km or so past the Merry Maidens. It is no longer in Paynter hands.
Haven't seen any others. However there is a book about the Cornish in Aust (the title is something like "Cousin Jack - the Cornish is Aust", not sure of the author) which mentions a Paynter or two.
My wife's maiden name is Paynter, descended from a mining engineer from Calstock (near the Tamar, at the other end of Cornwall) - he went out to S.Aust in 1860 approx.
Good luck & enjoy your holiday!
