I recently found on familysearch.org that one of my ancestors is "Candelaria Payarit". My father thinks there may have been related Payans in the family, but he is not sure. So I am wondering if perhaps the "Payarit" is a misspelling or misinterpretation of the old record. Was Candelaria actually a "Payan" or "Payant"? I can find no other entries or search results for the name "Payarit". Here is what I know about her based on the f's'.org records. My third g-grandmother was born about 1836 possibly around Satevo, Chihuahua, Mexico. She married Francisco Ochoa around 1857, and had at least two children, one of them being Panfilo Ochoa, my second g-grandfather. She died about 1890. I would certainly appreciate any information. This may be a bark up the wrong family tree, but I gotta try. Thanks. Notify Administrator about this message?
