I would love to exchange information. My grandfather is one of the children they adopted (George L.). Edward's wife was his aunt. His mother was Adelia's sister Georgia Jewett Bunker. Clarendon was his brother. The two boys' mother Georgia died April 30, 1893. Their father Isaac Bunker was still alive but had remarried and had four more children with his new wife. Edward and Adelia took over the responsibility of raising the two boys and latter adopted them, giving them the surname Paxton.
Edward Paxton died January 28, 1941 in Cowlitz County, Washington.
Adelia May Jewett was born January 1872 in Skowhegan, Somerset Co., Maine. Her parents were Solomon Stewart Jewett and Margaret Ann Worthing. Other than Georgia, she also had a brother Burt Jewett.
Adelia died July 10, 1948 in Longview, Cowlitz County, Washington.
My grandfather, George Leslie Paxton, was born April 23, 1893 in Michigan. He married Ruth Pearl Bradshaw in Mackinac Island, Mackinac Co., Michigan. He died April 10, 1917 in Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon.
