See http://www.familychest.co.uk/default.htm (use surname search) to see photo of original Probate document with seal dated 19 January 1733. Bartholomew Paxton mentions a house in Barton Hartshorn, Buckinghamshire, and other property at Colick(?) in the parish of Wadsdon, Buckinghamshire. This is a fairly detailed will with bequests of money to his daughters and to Elizabeth Paxton, the daughter of William Paxton. His wife is to have the goods in the parlour, but Susanna receives the goods in the parlour chamber. Susanna also received "the rents and profits of my estate in Barton for her life and to cut the hedges in a husband-like manner". His Trustees each receive a gold ring. His real estate goes to his son Bartholomew but with many provisions to ensure that it ends up with a "Protestant male heir of the Paxtons" BENEFICIARIES Mary Watts (his daughter) Grace Paxton (his wife) Bartholomew Paxton (his son) Susanna Paxton (his daughter) William Paxton of Goddington, Oxfordshire. Yeoman TRUSTEES Edmund Dayroll of Langport, Parish of Stow, Buckinghamshire. Gentleman Thomas Haycock of Daventry, Northamptonshire. Gentleman George Fletcher of Stoke Lyne, Oxfordshire. Clerk John Watts of Brackley, Northamptonshire. Plumber Notify Administrator about this message?
