William came with his parents to Lincoln Co, Ky and there married. in 1846, the family came to Audrain Co, MO.

(the name Clayton is from the Alcorn line)

William and Matilda are both buried in the Fairmont Cemetery which is in Middletown Missouri. William stone is broken and death date is unreadable. The stone next to them is Clayton Alcron born in Lincoln Co, Ky Nov 30, 1800 Died in Montgomery Co, MO Sept 12, 1858. Middletown is were my family were born and raised and my grandmother was a Paxton.
Hope this helps. If you need anything else let me know. Jane Eckert
