Hello Andrea,

I have just seen your request for Pawleys of South Wigston. My husband (Andrew Pawley)'s father was born in South Wigston. His father was Victor Elijah Pawley who was born on 31 July 1915 and died 10 June 1987. HIS father was called Elijah but he is unsure of his grandmother's name - it could be Sarah. We could look that up for you.

Victor had one living sister called Ivy and three little sisters who all died in infancy due to whooping cough. They lived in Junction Road South Wigston, Leicestershire.

It would be nice if you find that this is the family you are searching for.
