George Pawley is my 2nd great-grandfather. He was born, as you know, on 5 Jul 1833 in Bearstead England. He married Anna Godden on 11 Feb, 1855. They had one son in England, Alfred, born 13 Nov, 1855. A year later, they immigrated to America, stopping for about a year in NY before moving westward to the Brimfield IL area. There were 4 additional children: Clarence (B: 1860), Alonzo (B: 1862 or 1863, died in infancy), Emma (B: 1865) and Ernest (B: 1869)
Because of the family research done by my grandmother and great-grandmother, I have additional information if you wish.
