I am looking for information on the ancestry of Susan Marie Pavey who m. Alfred Knedler. She was the d/o Jesse Pavey, Jr. [b. 12 July 1806 in Highland Co. - d. 1881, bur. Pavey Cemetary, Highland Co., Ohio]; I believe he m. 21 Jul 1834 in Highland Co. to Magdalena Bainter and may have been the son of Jesse Pavey [b. 11 Mar 1772 in Caroline, Maryland - d. 29 Jan 1845 Highland Co. and bur. Pavey Cem.] who m. 05 Jun 1796 in Bourbon Co., Kentucky to Sally N. Stafford.
She appears on the census in 1860, 1870 and 1880 in Green Twp., Fayette Co., Ohio; 1920 on the Lick Creek Twp., Davis Co., Iowa census.
The LDS site has her as the d/o Jesse Pavey and Catherine Tolbird.
Susan Marie Pavey was my gr-gr-grandmother.
Does anyone have any information?
