I would not say there are not that many Paveys. There are Paveys throughout the US, as well as Pavys intertwined. The names have been interchangeable with fathers being known as Paveys, sons as Pavys, and individuals going by both spellings at different times for myriad reasons. Also, Paveys/Pavys in UK, Canada and Down Under.
