Hello Pam
My husbands g.grandmother was a Rachel Pavey dau. of Simon and Mary .... of Yarcombe, Somerset. then Simon [1797] and Elizabeth [b. East India ??] I cannot go further back but there are loads of Paveys in that area for generations back.
What is your connection ?
