Hi Yvonne,

My great grandmother was Thomas Pavey's niece Alice. She died when she was only 30. Thomas' name appears on her death certificate, as well as her mother's as the informant. THey all lived in the Dawn Mills and Dresden area. I looked in the Dresden Times around that date and only found a thankyou blurb in the newspaper (no obituary), so I think the story you heard is probably true.
